Maple city apartments to say the least is the over priced and under managed for no reason a two bedroom is 1000$ a month and a one bed room is 800$ a month which is not bad a bad amount to pay for typical apartments that are located in downtown areas but... there are no interesting features or view in downtown Monmouth not one sky scrapper just a plain old circle that right there is enough for the price to be at least 100$ lower inside the apartments are pretty wide and tall which is a good thing right well not so much for us because the tempertures drop very low in the winter time and the very high in the summer time which makes very hard for heat or air to circulate around a wide apartment the base board heaters that were put in do not work and the air condtioning is very crappy the walls are so thin you can here just about everything your neighbor is doing for a thousand dollars a month there should at least be more amenities then an elevator considering this is monmouth il there is no gym one balcony for everyone to share and and a security door against nothing there have been multiple complaints and times when someone was asked to come fix something in the house but it was either never done or ignored its a waste of time and money to live here and a make believe luxury
